Welcome and thank you for joining us here! We’re so excited that you’ve found us! We created this space with the intent of bringing Gen X women together and to find more women like us who are searching for more. A strong sisterhood, sounding board, a place to learn, share, and hangout.

Let’s enjoy the lives we’ve built and will continue to build! A community, just for us!

Why Are We Here?

Now that you’re here, let us tell you a little about us and what we’re up to as we introduce this new platform for our generation.

We are starting out by keeping it simple, small, and focused on core themes and areas. These are areas where Gen X women want to be seen, heard, and supported. Gen X women are so much more than what’s typically assumed of us. We are here to plant our flag to the collective culture and to let our voices be heard.

We want this community to celebrate all of us, our common story and our unique diversity, distinctiveness, vibrancy, soulfulness, and our power! Our aspiration is to become the go to destination for the modern Gen X woman, but not without YOUR support. We want to be the one stop shop with the right content and relevant stories. These are meant to entertain, uplift, educate, and inform. All curated with you (us) in mind!

Let’s Celebrate the Gen X Woman!

We were told we could have it all as we were growing up. And, ladies, we went for it! The so-called “slackers” are now entrepreneurs, innovators, CEOs, movie stars, self-made millionaires. And also kick ass mothers, daughters, wives, partners, and fabulous, amazing single women. Congratulations on all your accomplishments! You’ve worked hard for everything you have! But we’re not done yet. And with this community we want to demonstrate and share what we’ve learned and are still learning. We believe our next chapter is truly the most exciting one, and it doesn’t have to be a struggle.

This Is Your Opportunity

Yes, we are in or entering a new phase of life, facing family challenges (caring for aging parents and/or our children), along with career, spiritual, financial, and relationship complexities that the generations before us couldn’t have imagined or even prepared us for. We didn’t have many role models considering we were the first generation of our kind. And so, we’re figuring it out as we go along. The highs, the lows, the successes, the so called “existential crisis” we’re told to just expect, accept, and never move beyond.

But, as Brene Brown (a badass Gen X woman) said, “A crisis highlights all of our fault lines. We can pretend that we have nothing to learn, or we can take this opportunity to own the truth and make a better future for ourselves and others.”

Let’s Go!

So, bring it on! Let crises, the pandemic, and everything in between be the transforming lightning rod we, Gen X women, need in order to own what WE want and WE need to create the lives we imagine. The time is now to counter limiting expectations thrust upon us and make the conscious decision to live life OUR way. It’s never too late. There are so many strong, beautiful, diverse, accomplished Gen X woman stories that we will bring together in this space for inspiration and guidance, which will help get us to wherever we want to be, using voices and power we have often forgotten about. Those days are over!

Say it loud and proud… “I AM GEN X WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR!!”
